Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law “On Amendments to Article 25.6 of the Federal Law“ On the Procedure for Exiting the Russian Federation and Entry into the Russian Federation ”.
Federal law simplifies the procedure for issuing visas for foreign citizens entering the Russian Federation as tourists, by establishing the possibility of obtaining a tourist visa on the basis of confirmation of booking a place in a hotel or other accommodation facility, information about which is contained in a single list of classified hotels.
In addition, the Federal Law provides for an increase from one to six months, the period for which an ordinary tourist visa is issued.
