Hunting for the Northern Lights
from September to April
A real miracle and the pearl of the northern land – Aurora Borealis! A fascinating adventure in pursuit of an exceptional natural phenomenon that makes us happy all winter! The best time for hunting is from October till April, a pleasant forecast: cloudless sky, high level of activity.
City tour & icebreaker “Lenin”
The atomic Lenin ice breaker is the first-ever vessel with the nuclear power station. Only object of cultural heritage of federal importance in the city of Murmansk. It is constructed in Leningrad in 1956-1959. Now it is the museum where you can see this the vessel from within.
Onboard the Atom and Arctic exhibition – the interactive museum and educational complex devoted to issues of development of atomic energy and the Northern Sea Route works.
Husky farm and Saami Village
The Saami People are indigenous people of Lapland. Sami lived in Scandinavia and in the north of the Kola Peninsula. In the Saami (Lappish) village you can get acquainted with the culture of Sami, their kitchen and fauna: reindeers, foxes.
Nearby there are husky Farm where you can communicate with Siberian huskies or organize Husky riding (not available at the times, when it is no snow).
Trip to Snow Village

Excursion to the Snow Village (hand-made museum from ice. There are around 40 rooms decorated by Russian, Norway and Finish artists. Every year Snow village is different. (Open dates from 25 Dec til 25 Apr).
Visiting Museum of stone (ancient building with clock on a top of it (like Big Bang). This museum represents Nickel-plated mine of the Murmansk region.
It is possible to lift up to the mountain and look around with a bird's eye (extra), rent an equipment to go to ski or snowboard (extra, pre-booking), go snowmobile safari to mountains (extra, pre-booking).
Trip to the Arctic Coast. Northern lights hunting in the evening.
Beautiful views of Barents Sea and a magnificent waterfall that flows into the Arctic Ocean. This is wonderful place Teriberka.
Now this is a small settlement with a small population, where only the ruins of a fishing village, a ship graveyard and incredible Arctic landscapes are left! Teriberke's infrastructure is developing every year, because more and more tourists from all over the world come here!
